EVI has developed a timely software solution to assist your district in managing New York State’s APPR Legislation for the evaluation of teachers and principals. This multi-faceted solution, StaffTrac, contains all aspects of the APPR requirements. Without technology support, the ability to address the scheduling and monitory of evaluations and follow-up has to be an unimaginable challenge.

StaffTracwill support you in the APPR process from evaluation right into the Professional Development Plans required in Section 100.0 of the Regulations of the Commissioner. Evaluators can move easily from evaluation to designing a professional development schedule based on data and observation.

A calendar function houses all important State and district dates and the scheduling and monitoring of evaluations. This will ease the burden of acquiring a quick and accurate status report as often as needed.

The evaluation function houses all evaluative devices to support the process, such as rating rubrics. What is important is that evaluators may access any and all aspects of the APPR process with the use of a small tablet such as iPad 2 or other touch-screen computer. Unlimited notations may be made in the program, as well as planned conferences.

The reporting function includes all critical reports. In addition, customized reports may be developed. Therefore, StaffTrac provides a full-functioning system with linkage to any student information system (SIS) and data management system, such as DataMate.

Finally, StaffTrac serves as a district  human resources system which may contain all NYS certification information, as well certification status of all staff and other critical information.
